LOVING GOD By N. Kasturi
The author, a multi-faceted erudite scholar, was an ardent devotee and close confidant of Sathya Sai Baba for over four decades. He was also a close witness to Baba’s omniscience, omnipotence and omnipresence. Thus, he was a veritable treasure house of reminiscences and archivist of Baba. This biography narrates how his life was moulded, guided and led by the Divine Baba. The book brings out how, on complete surrender to God Almighty, one’s life-cares are fully taken care of by Him and one can develop an attitude of detachment towards pain and pleasure, success and disappointment in daily life.

GOOD CHANCES By Howard Levin.

On June 5, 1970, he reached the Whitefield Ashram of Sai Baba. There he settled along with nineteen other Westerners who were all blessed with much close personal contact with Baba. Fascinating and entertaining reading.

This miraculous ·book is the outcome of several opportunities given to the author by Sathya Sai Baba, to lecture at His ashram. Baba often uses humour to teach profound spiritual truths. He smiles at our mistakes and faults with infinite tenderness and love. Swami is quick at verbal repartee. A devotee suggested to Baba that He had the power to solve all India’s financial problems by transforming the Indian Ocean into oil. Baba replied, ‘If I did, someone like you would probably toss a lighted match into it.’ This book provides a wide range of Baba's humour, all conveying spiritual truths.
