At the Book Centre, we now have available a good range of incense sticks; many made entirely from natural products and without any man made chemicals or artificial products.
The incense sticks are made from a mixture of natural aromatic oils,
resins, wood powders, forest saps and fragrant herbs in the ancient
traditional way.
The use of incense goes back many thousands of years when aromatic
powders were spread symbolically over a fire. Amongst the first users
of incense were the saints and sages of India who used them as an
integral part of their prayer and meditation. They are also used to
dissolve unwanted vibrations from rooms and objects. There are thousands
of incenses available in the world today but only a handful of these
are made using the age old natural masala recipe.
