A collection of darshans showing many different aspects of Swami; at bhajans

No. 3 - A Birthday Party
A professionally made film of Sai Baba's 50th Birthday celebrations
which says much about Swami and His teachings and miracles in the
process. We see Baba at darshan in Prasanthi as it was in 1976; giving
His birthday discourse and making a splendid entrance by helicopter.
Includes interviews with the late Prof. Gokak and Dr. John Hislop who
describes the dramatic manifestation of a unique crucifix showing Jesus
as he really was. Ends with Swami leading a bhajan, receiving Aarati from
a group of girl students and enjoying the Jhula (sacred swing) ceremony.(28

No. 4 - Serve the Divine - Chant the Name
The Feb. 20, 1993 Divine Shivaratri Discourse
This tape starts with the last 30 minutes of the all night Shivaratri
bhajans in the Poornachandra Auditorim in Prasanthi Nilayam. We see Sathya
Sai Baba arrive and listen to the devotees singing. Then Baba gives his
Divine Discourse (with English subtitles) explaining why we should do
service. He emphasizes that we should do service within our capacity.
He gives several examples of people doing service around the Ashram. We
then see Baba organizing volunteers to distribute Prashad.(1 hour and
28 min.)
No. 5 - Education in Human Values Discourse
International bhajans sung in their native language to Swami set the
scene for this inspiring film.. Then Dr. Jumsai from Thailand speaks
on how Education in Human Values programmes are being implemented
in various countries.
Afterwards, Baba gives an inspiring and illuminating talk on EHV and
what it means. He speaks about the role of teachers and the importance
of their being good examples to students. He also talks about the
three P's (purity, patience, and perseverance) and their importance
in our daily life.
As Baba gives his Divine Discourse, Anil Kumar translates it into English.
You hear Swami and also see the English subtitles.

Nos. 7/8/9/10 Jagadeesan talks in UK (on 4 tapes)
An engaging and charismatic speaker, Jagadeesan has a great gift for
explaining Swami’s more profound teachings with warmth and humour,
stories, songs and examples from everyday life. In October 1994, Jagadeesan
spoke at several UK Satsangs.
Birmingham he spoke on the “Grand Utterances of Baba”, “How
to become an Avatar” and answered spiritual questions (on two tapes),
in London he spoke at the Brent Town Hall (one tape) then the next day
to the Youth of Sai about “Modern Youth, Religion and the Generation

No. 13 - Phyllis Krystal at the San Diego Conference
Phyllis Krystal is known world-wide for her work on Cutting the Ties
That Bind.
At this Sai Conference Phyllis talks about the challenges of being on
the spiritual path and describes some of the ways we can unpeel the layers
of learned behaviour patterns that conceal our inner selves and prevent
us from growing. Vivid stories of her close contacts with Baba and Mrs.
Krystal's gentle warmth, humility and wisdom makes this a moving and inspiring

No 16 - The Christmas Video
Christmas day is celebrated every year in Prashanti. In this fine
video we share the magical atmosphere of the candlelit carol procession
before dawn, ending in the Mandir compound, complete with Christmas
including tree and nativity scene.
We see Swami from the balcony blessing the crowds, then during morning
darshan Swami cuts a huge Christ mas cake, listens to the Christmas
music and finally gives Prasad to the thousands of happy devotees.

No. 17 - Glimpses from a Divine Week (65th Birthday
Celebrations)
In the course of a thoughtful commentary explaining the ceremonies
and festivities at the 65th Birthday celebrations, the teachings of
Sai Baba and His programmes of service, education and spirituality
are described.
We see the Heritage Museum (a 65th Birthday gift), the Sathya Sai Speciality
Hospital, Sai Baba directing the feeding of the poor and the opening of

No. 18 - Follow the Master by Prof. K. Anil
Kumar
Professor Anil Kumar is the principal of one of Baba's colleges and
a long-time devotee. This talk was given in Prashanti Nilayam in December
1996. Anil Kumar explains and expands on the idea of "Follow
the Master".
He narrates many humorous and entertaining experiences with Swami. The
entire talk is very informative and a perfect example of Anil Kumar's
ability to keep an attentive audience through his enthusiasm and wonderful
storytelling skills. (70 minutes)
No. 19 - Master of Light
This dynamic professional video evokes the atmosphere in and around Prasanthi
Nilayam in a vivid and inspiring way, showing Baba at darshan time; speaking
to people, blessing them, manifesting vibhuti. There are also some moving
scenes of people singing devotional songs at bhajan time and in the twilight
before dawn, in Nagasankirtan, all to the music of some unusual songs

No. 22 - The Miracles of Sai Baba and Summer
Darshans
First Sai devotees describe miracles associated with Sai Baba that
they have personally experienced. (18 minutes)
The second part shows Sai Baba during a number of Darshans in Prashanti
Nilayam during the summer of 1988. It shows Sai Baba walking amongst the
assembled devotees, accepting letters from some and occasionally materializing
vibhuti for others. The sounds on this video are natural as occurred during

A fascinating film of the mysterious and holy Patal Bhuvaneswar, a cave
temple in the Himalayas which was described in the ancient Skanda Puran.
We see the stunning features of the cave and hear the moving experiences
of pilgrims from East and West who have witnessed the cave and felt their

Sai Baba's Discourse on Gurupoornima - The Guru in the heart - The
vision of God - Develop detachment
This tape begins with Sathya Sai Baba giving Darshan on Guru Poornima
Celebrations at the Mandir in Prasanthi Nilayam. Then Mr. Srinivasan
talks about the spectacular growth of the ashram, the Super Speciality
Hospital and the Water Project. In His discourse, Swami explains the
concept of cause and effect, the function of a guru, and the meaning
of Guru Poornima. The translation is by Prof. Anil Kumar and there

Before His discourse Swami gives darshan and three musicians speak
of their experiences in performing at the World Music Festival on
July 9th and 10th.
In His discourse, Swami explains what the four enemies of happiness.
He also talks about the power of our thoughts and why we should have
Divine thoughts. He emphasizes our roles as individuals in society.
Swami also brings to light many old customs and their spiritual values.
This discourse is translated by Mr. Anil Kumar and there are english
subtitles.

No. 29 Padukas Ceremony and the Discourse of
Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba of the 8th July 1995 (with English subtitles)
This tape was taken during the Padukas Ceremony in the Mandir compound
in Prasanthi Nilayam, India. Thousands of devotees enter the Mandir
compound with their Divine Padukas. Sathya Sai Baba gives darshan
to the assembled devotees in front of the Mandir.
In His discourse, Swami explains the spiritual importance of the Divine
feet of the Lord. He emphasizes that the feet are the most important
part of the body. Swami also differentiates between wordly love and
divine love. This discourse is translated by Prof. Anil Kumar. You
can see the respective subtitles as Prof. Kumar speaks. After the
discourse, you see Swami walking amongst the devotees blessing their
Padukas.
(The discourse lasts about 57 minutes, the total tape is about 1 hour
and 18 minutes long.)
No. 31 - Bhajans with Baba
This video was taken at several locations over a two and half year period.
The first section of the video was taped on November 24th and 25th. The
second section during the Mahashiviratri bhajans, both in the Poornachandra
Auditorium in Prasanthi. The third section of the video was taken at the

No. 36 - The Early Years
A rare and powerful early film containing many historic moments in
the Sai Story, and showing Swami at different ages in His life; striding

We see the famous Abishek miracle where He produces clouds of vibhuti
from a small upturned vase, Swami presiding at the inauguration of

A spectacular dance-drama based on seven of the 108 Names of God.
Created in UK for Swami and presented to Him at Brindavan in July
1994, when He described it as 'ideal'.
Balvikas children from all over the UK, perform the seven scenes, to live
bhajans specially associated with Swami and His life. Scenes from Baba's

Baba's 70th Birthday and the Jhoola Ceremony
This film captures the special atmosphere of the Evening Entertainment
on the 70th Birthday and the Jhoola Ceremony.
We see Baba's enjoyment of some of the finest singers in India. The
star performance is Dana Gillespie - the famous blues singer from
UK, who with marvellous piano and guitar backing, sings three songs
specially composed for Swami: "I Sai for you", "Big
Daddy" and Happy Birthday Baba".
Baba obviously enjoys every moment and so does the huge stadium crowd.
At the end of the programme, we see Baba leave with the President
of India and other special guests.

Poonachandra Hall 17th February 1996 on the eve of Shivaratri.
Swami begins this discourse by discussing the nature of God. He distinguishes
between duality and nonduality, emphasizes that nature is a reflection
of God’s will and explains the meaning of Shiva and Shivaratri.
For the rest of the discourse, Swami emphasizes the importance of love
and sacrifice. He particularly urges students to use every opportunity

- Bharatiyas’ duty — Truth is God -Experiencing Divinity
18th February 1996 - Poornachandra Hall
The first 20 minutes of this tape has bhajans being sung in the presence
of Sathya Sai Baba. Later, Swami begins this discourse by praising
the spiritual basis of India, saying that India is the center of all
spirituality and holds an important place in the spiritual progress
of man.
He then discusses the difference between body and atma (soul). He says
that our goal is to purify the mind, heart, and words, and to share love.
He concludes with a bhajan. (62 minutes)

Love
The mystery and magic of the Avatar are well expressed in this fabulous
film through imaginative special effects, which show Swami, at His
most charismatic and beguiling. The commentary - mostly Swami’s

immensity of the Avatar’s
role. There are some highly unusual shots of Swami - and we witness
how alone He is, communing with other levels of consciousness and

Breathtaking film showing the majestic Ganges in its many different
settings - winding through the vast and snowy Himalayas, flowing past
the sacred cities on its banks like Rishikesh and Benares. Special
effects are used creatively to help tell the spiritual legends of
Shiva and of Mother Ganga.
The film celebrates the spirituality of daily life in India. If you
can't visit Mother Ganga in this lifetime, at least you can get an
impression of her beauty and power in this film.

This film is so beautiful and inspiring you'll want to watch it over
and over again. The digital quality is matched by artistic camera
work and atmospheric music.People from different walks of life, all
speak movingly of the love and peace they experience while giving
service on the Prasanthi Nilayam ashram and the camera follows them
around as they work in the kitchens, hospitals the Water Project.
The Darshan scenes are extremely reverential and we also see Swami
smilingly throwing ladoos at His 70th birthday celebrations.

No. 50 - INTERNATIONAL BHAJANS
During Spiritual Year in the three-year lead-up to the 70th Birthday celebrations,
overseas devotees had the opportunity to sing bhajans (devotional songs)
to Swami in their own native languages. This tape shows groups from all
over the world come together to rehearse their bhajans, most composed
specially for the occasion, in various locations throughout the ashram.
The remainder of the tape is taken at the performance in the Poornachandra
Auditorium on November 20th, 1993 with Swami present. This is a great
darshan video with many beautiful close ups of Swami as He listens to
these new bhajans in so many different musical styles and sung so lovingly

Three well known UK devotees tell how they came to Baba and describe
some of their interviews with Him. - *Lucas Ralli, former UK President,
who has written four books about the inner communications he has had
with Sai Baba. *Peggy Mason is an author and publisher of a quarterly
Sai Magazine from England. She tells how she came to Swami and describes
several interviews.
Prof. Keith Critchlow is the architect of the Super Speciality Hospital
in Puttaparthi. He talks about how he got involved in the project and

How to escape from the consequences of our own actions.
Sathya Sai Baba's Divine Discourse
In this discourse, Sathya Sai Baba explains how we can establish peace
in the world, and how we can escape from the consequences of our own
actions.
He also tells us what is responsible for our ignorance. Swami talks
a lot about Rama and Hanuman. He brings out many details and conversations
between Rama and Hanuman. He also narrates a very insightful story
illustrating Hanuman's devotion for Rama.
Later, He clarifies some basic ancient concepts of human existence. He
gives the "true and correct" meaning of non-violence. At the
end of the discourse, Swami sings a beautiful bhajan. (English Subtitles)

No: 53 - Seek the Guru within you - Divine Discourse
of 30th July 1996
This video was taken at the new Kulwant Hall, in
Prashanti Nilayam on July 30, 1996. Before Swami speaks, the Honorable
P. N. Bhagavati, the former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of
India addresses the large gathering.
Afterwards, two former students who are now faculty members of the
Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, give short talks.
During Swami's discourse, He explains what and who Brahman is and the
significance of Vedanta. He also explains about gurus and how they are
today. Later, He makes clear the importance of this Poornima day and how
it relates to sage Vyasa. He also emphasizes the need to respect all religions.
In this discourse He also talks very briefly about Shirdi Sai Baba. (English

Meet Dr. Sam Sandweiss, the author of one of our best loved books on Baba:

U.K. Dr. Sandweiss speaks gently and charmingly about his experiences
with Baba. This video is compiled of extracts from his talks and a private

November 1996 - LADIES DAY - the uniqueness of a mother’s love
This video begins with a wonderful music program by overseas ladies.
Mrs. Sarla Shah addresses the audience about the significance of Ladies’
Day. Then, M. S. Subbalakshmi sings a few verses to Swami.
Sathya Sai Baba begins this discourse by explaining the uniqueness of
a mother’s love and emphasizes that no one can substitute a mother.
He particularly demonstrates the importance of respecting one’s
parents and says that this is even more important than worshipping God.
Swami also demonstrates the role of silence as a spiritual practice. He
then describes the greatness of God and why we must believe in His power.
He speaks of both God and the mother as embodiments of creation, who must
be revered by all. Swami says that mothers are responsible for all the

Baba - Gods role in this Universe - V. Srinavasan - Water Project
Overview - I. Shah - Integrating Sai teachings
This video begins with a couple of bhajans that are sung in the presence
of Sathya Sai Baba. Then, Sri V. Srinavasan, a member of the Sri Sathya
Sai Central Council addresses the audience and gives an update on
the Sri Sathya Sai Water Supply Project. Sri Indulal Shah, the International
Chairman of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organizations later gives a brief
talk about integrating Sai message into our daily life.
Sathya Sai Baba begins His discourse by explaining the role that God plays
in this universe. Then He explains the nature of God’s love. He
emphasizes that devotees must concentrate on this divinity in order to
attain peace. He particularly points out the role of love in reaching
God. Swami goes on to explain the quickest way of reaching Him. He then
discusses the negative effects of following the mind. In this discourse,
Swami also gives significant attention to explaining the importance of
caring for the body. He explains how and why this should be done. (English

- Divine Discourse of Sathya Sai Baba
Love is God
This video begins with the birthday procession and darshan. Then, Swami
sits on the silver chair as bhajans are sung. Later, the former Chief
Justice of the Supreme Court of India, Honorable P. N. Bhavagati addresses
the audience. Sathya Sai Baba then gives a wondertul discourse on love.
In the discourse, Swami speaks of love as the basis of the spiritual path.
He explains the type of love that truly moves God. Swami also emphasizes
the importance of surrendering everything to God without expecting results.
He then says that strength, peace, prosperity, and happiness are all the
effects of pure love. Baba also advises the devotees on the best way of
offering prayers and emphasizes the role of music in this. He says that
only when man realizes tha t his whole life is based on love, can he live
a worthwhile life. In this discourse, Swami gives the true meaning of

Sathya Sai Baba
Sathya Sai Baba begins this discourse by pointing out that the intent
of all religions is to bring about unity in this world of diversity. Then,
He gives some interesting information about Judaism and the sanctity of
the Hebrew language. Baba goes on to explain the birth of Christ. Swami
gives new information on Jesus’, Mary’s and Joseph’s
real names and also explains the meaning of Christ. He then gives a historical
account of the evolution of Christianity as a religion, and speaks of
the dangers of religious affiliation. Swami then materializes a small,
rare Bible, shows it to the audience, and explains the significance of
it. Swami next mentions the fundamental questions one must ask to reach
divinity. He concludes by explaining the characteristics of an ideal devotee.
Overall, this discourse contains many new insights into the life and meaning

Sai School in Ndola
The Sathya Sai School in Ndola, Zambia in Africa was started in 1993
under the guidance of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. This documentary
is about the remarkable and miraculous work that is being done in
Zambia, Africa by Victor and Genevova Kanu and how they are truly
transforming the students of Africa.
Students at this school were selected from former dropouts and failures
of the Zambian school system. This video describes the extraodinary
results both academically and spiritually, that have been achieved
in the Sathya Sai School of Zambia.
The story is a remarkable and moving example of Swami’s Love
in action.

No. 66 - Sathya Sai Baba's Christmas Discourse
1997
This video starts with four speakers from the “Messengers of
Sathya Sai” a service program associated with the female graduates
of the Sri Sathya Institute of Higher Learning. Afterwards Arthur
Hillcoat from Australia and Robert Bruce from the United States speak.
Sathya Sai Baba begins the Christmas discourse by naming the six most
essential virtues for man and explains the importance of self-confidence
in acquiring these virtues. He then goes into a detailed discussion
about the role of faith in human life and explains why a faithless
person can never attain divinity.
Baba then names four qualities that humans should regard as divine
mothers. He then begins and explanation of the role of mothers in
spirituality and then discusses the importance of women in society.
Next, Swami speaks about the importance of controlling the mind. He
explains that it is only through control of the mind that man can
acquire spiritual qualities. He then discusses the life of Jesus Christ
and describes the role of love in Jesus Christ’s philosophy
and teachings. Swami explains the qualities of love, sacrifice, and
purity that Jesus exemplified.
He ends with a description of the limitless capacity of God. He names
the only cure for the disease of ego and explains that only this can

the World Youth Conference 19th July 1997
In this address Swami affirms the presence of God in all tthings and
the divine qualities within man. He speaks ot the importance of Devotion,
Discipline and Duty and how essential it is to use every second of
your life and keep to the principles of character in this Golden Age.
The story and teachings of the Ramayana are used to illustrate the
formation of character and how one should ignore the golden vessel
of worldly pleasures with its poison and to take the earthenware Pot
with amritha.
Swami emphasises that we should not search for God in this world but
look within and enjoy the bliss of God. He goes on to say that many
are afraid to mention God or say His name —how can this be so
when you are the reflection of God.The youths are then instructed
in the importance of going out to give service and enlisting the help
of others and much more.

This 92 minute film covers the missing 18 years in the life of Jesus not
found in the Bible. Records found in an ancient Tibetian monastery combined
with information from the Akashic Records as well as from Bhagavan Sri
Sathya Sai Baba complete the picture of those formative years in the life
of Christ. The film also examines the mystery of the Shroud of Turin and
the Spear of Longinus believed to have pierced the side of Jesus at the

The Concept of Human Values in Education
This three hour video is of a talk by Dr Art Ong Jumsai and that by
Sanjit Chowdhari at a conference on Education in Human Values. Dr
Jumsai starts by talking about the causes of today’s unhappiness
and relates it to our excessive desires and how they must be countered.
At the same time as we are combating desires, we are being the model
for our children by giving them Values. He related his problems in
early school day and how the stories that his father told him every
night had stored themselves in his subconscious and how they had help
in difficult times. The effect of TV, films and surrounding literature
can be countered by the observation and practice of the Human Values
Program. Stories are related and the human values are covered together
with the advantages of silent sitting at home and at school. The duty
of parents to teach their children is also mentioned. The second half
of the video is a talk at the same conference by Sanjit Chowdhari.
Sanjit relates some stories and speaks about the blossoming of children
with the aid of EHV. He talks on the true purpose of education and
how the values can be used in everyday life and be of help to everyone.
The spiritual dimension of man and its place in our emotional levels
is mentioned and how this dimension can be used to bring peace and
stability.
We are told that Truth and Love are indestructible energies that lead

The World Youth Conferenc - Prasanthi Nilayam 16-7-97
The Conference's theme was 'The Practice of Dharma. You see the parade
of Nations and opening addresses by Indulal
Shah who asks "What is Youth" and expounds upon the Eternal
Youth and asks for less organisation and more Transformation. Leslie
Can speaks about the responsibility of Youth.
Swami, addressing the Youth, tells them that Time is not to be wasted
and that no one is using the gifts of God. He exhorts the Youth to
be aware of the company that they keep-to know that you are 'the maker
of your destiny.'
He dwells upon the debts owed to society and says that gratitude should
be expressed by giving selfless service. Amongst the many subjects
covered, He asks that one works with the Spirit of Forgiveness and
that one should destroy the Ego and work with Goodness in preference
to seeking Greatness. The translation, filming and subtitles are excellent
on this 90 minute video.

proximity is the greatest wealth. He speaks about when Jesus was actually

No. 97 - Christmas Programme 1998
This video contains the Christmas program presented by the overseas
devotees with the overall theme being Love and Unity. Included is
the Main Overseas Devotees Choir presented to Baba in the Sai Kulvant
Hall. Songs were sung in many languages by the devotees from around
the world. The children's choir presented to many languages by the
devotees from around the world . The children's choir follows with
spirit and sweetness in their singing to Swami. Next is the children's
drama entitled "The Joy of the Lord."
It pleased Swami very much. He came onto the stage and handed out dhotis and saris to all the children. The Christmas morning candlenight procession and the balcony darshan given by Baba are also included on this video. It was a joyous Christmas celebration. (120 minutes)

No. 101 - The Divine Discourse of Bhagavan Sri
Sathya Sai Baba during the Christmas Celebrations of
25th December 1999.
The Christmas video begins with several talks from members of the
Messengers of Sathya Sai. Thereafter, Mr. Arthur Hillcoat spoke and
emphasized the need to put Swami’s teachings into practice.
Swami began His discourse by speaking about the qualities of the human
heart at the time of birth. He also discussed what effect the environment
and the company we keep has on the development of character. Baba
went on to discuss the importance of satsang, and how it helps us
to attain control of the senses. Later, Swami acknowledged the selfless
work that the Messengers of Sai are doing and stressed that women
of character and nobility set an ideal example for others. Next, He
described the “true Christmas spirit” at Prashanthi Nilayam
and states that, “There is only one God and He is the indweller
of your heart.” He also reminded us that education should be
used to serve society and that it is more important to accumulate
virtues than wealth.

In this video we witness the opening ceremony of the Sri Sathya Sai
Institute of Higher Medical Sciences in Banglore on 19th January 2001.
The Prime Minister of India, Sri Atal Bihari Vajapay, gave an inauguration
speech. This was followed by
Divine Discourse from Swami. Also we see the inauguration of "Sri
Sathya Sai Samskruta Sadanam"(the Sai Academy for the study of
Sanskrit) which took place on 15th January 2001.

“Devotees from Denmark present a grand musical programme at
the same venue in the Divine Presence of Bhagavan Baba.
They enthralled the audience with six selected Sanskrit, English and
Danish devotional songs, which earned the appreciation of the devotees
and the blessings of Bhagavan, who went up on the stage at the end
of the programme, distributed clothes to the participants and also
materialised a gold chain for the girl, who sang all the six songs

of Guru Purnima 2002
Guru Purnima, also known as Vyasa Purnima, falls on the full moon
day of the month of Ashada (June-July). It is an auspicious day in
the Hindu calendar earmarked and dedicated to the great Veda Vyasa
who collated the Mahabharatha which had earned him the status of a
world preceptor. So, this day is aptly chosen by one and all to fondly
remember and pay obeisance to one’s Guru. The day has now assumed
unique importance because of the physical presence of the Avatar of
the Age, Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, in whom the world has both
the Lord and the Preceptor.

humans as the most precious day the Avatar has chosen to walk on the
planet Earth to meet his millions.
Prashanti Nilayam, the highest abode of peace, where the human frame
of the Lord has taken residence will be aglow in resplendence and
spirit as it dresses up every year to celebrate the anniversary of
the Advent.
People from all climes, belonging to all creeds flock here to share
the warmth of His Divine Love, to bask in the radiance of His glory
and to feast their eyes and ears with the charm of His sweet countenance
and the melody of His voice divine.
The ever expanding glory of the Avatar needs no testimony other than
the fact that, as many as 180 countries of the world share the joy
of this happy occasion, having been drawn by His thrilling story and
His soothing, consoling and comforting teachings of eternal value
in no less than 26 languages.
Two more events of great importance and significance have now been
tagged onto the main celebrations – Ladies Day on the 19th November
to pay homage to motherhood in keeping with precious cultural heritage
of Bharat and the convocation on the 22nd, of the Sri Sathya Sal Institute
of higher learning (Deemed University).
A galaxy of eminent performing artists rendering their best in the
Divine presence is another attraction. Release of a variety of Sai
literature and providing nourishment to the body, mind and spirit
is yet another attraction.

Swami looks younger day by day. Love shines forth from Swami and envelops
us all - just by sitting at home and watching this video we get transported
to the realm of “Perfect everlasting peace” – to

25th of December 2003 at Sai Kulwant hall.
“You are making various efforts to experience Divinity. Do not
search for God outside. He is in you. Everything is in you. All you
see outside is illusory. Do not be carried away by the illusory world.
Only then can you attain peace and ultimately realise the truth “I
am I”. To know the simple truth, you need not go through various
sacred texts. Keep the texts aside. Enjoy the taste of divinity within.
Develop inner vision and visualise your true self.”

Devotees witness the Divine Phenomenon of Lingodbhava
The Avatar of kali age, Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba manifested his
Divinity once again before a mammoth gathering of devotees in the
Sai Kulwant Hall, Prashanti Nilayam by bringing out three Lingas from
his body on the blessed Shivarathri night of 18th February 2004. While
one linga was brought out in the hall, the other two lingas came out
when Bhagavan was in.the mandir.
The entire Shivarathri programme including the Divine phenomenon of
Lingodbhava was witnessed by millions of devotees as it was broadcast
live on a TV channel in India.

A Film about Sathya Sai Baba by James Redmond.
A group of Baba’s women devotees meet to share some extraordinary
experiences with Him in the early days. These devotees formed one
of the first group of Westerners to spend time at Swami’s ashrams
in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s. They talk about a
golden time before the great crowds of today, when sometimes there
were only 100 to 200 people during darshan and close, frequent contact
with Baba was possible.
One of the “Gopis” actually lived on the ashram in Puttaparthi
with her family for many years. There is a lot of laughter and lively
discussion as their reunion stimulates ever more vivid memories of
Swami and we recall Swami’s words about satsang being like the
coals being in contact with the Fire.

A Film about Sathya Sai Baba by James Redmond.
A group of five of Baba’s earliest Western devotees speak movingly
of their experiences with Him in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s.
At that time, before the huge crowds of today, it was much easier
to get close to Baba. They have some extraordinary experiences to
share and they do so in the most entertaining way. One of them, Howard
Levin the author of “Good Chances”, tells some unique
and very funny stories, and the man who wrote “Love is my Form”
describes how Baba inspired him. As they speak, we can see the love
and reverence Baba inspired in them still glowing in their faces.
It is said that if you really want to see the Lord you will find Him
in the eyes of His devotees.

Well known as the owner of the Hard Rock Cafés, Isaac Tigrett’s
story is one of faith and patience: he went to Prashanti 15 times
before Swami spoke to him.
With great warmth and humility he tells how his life changed after
a series of family tragedies and how Swami saved his life several
times. He recounts several extraordinary experiences where Swami demonstrates
His omniscience, omnipresence, compassion, sense of humour and mystery.
He expounds aspects of Swami’s philosophy and his own way of
putting that philosophy into his daily life and work, notably the
Hard Rock Cafés, House of Blues and the Super Specialty Hospital
in Puttaparthi, for which he was the main donor.
Finally, he mentions his meditation work with Phyllis Krystal, through
which he experienced Swami working in many different dimensions.
